Solar panel comparison

Common 2026 residential modules. Compare warranty terms and efficiency, but remember: panels are ~$0.30–0.50/W of the installed price — the installer’s price is what you negotiate.

How to read a panel warranty

Product warranty covers defects (panel fails) — typically 12–25 years. Performance warranty guarantees output stays above a percentage (e.g., 87–92% of nameplate at year 25). A single “25-year warranty” line in a quote usually means one of these, not both — ask which. Our data lists both separately.
